I provide bespoke Turkish transcription services for television production companies, media outlets, criminal investigations and civil court actions, as well as undertaking special commissions for law firms and investigative bodies. On request, I certify all transcriptions and translations for use in criminal or civil proceedings. I am prepared to attend court to give evidence on all transcription and translation work I undertake.
Subject to my availability, I provide a 3-way telephone interpreting service for anyone needing this type of service. Examples include: market research, medical surveys, companies wishing to speak to each other to clarify important details; lawyers wishing to speak to their clients, and so on.
I have translated a number of popular soaps coming out of Turkey for the Middle East markets.
I have been training interpreters since the 1990s and have given many talks and seminars on interpreting matters including interviews to television programmes and radio stations. As a visiting lecturer, I have given lectures to final year students of Conference Interpreting at Bosphorus University and Hacettepe University and notably a talk on Court Interpreting at a conference on languages, at the invitation of the Ministry of Sports and Culture, which was subsequently published in a book ‘Genç Tercümanlar Çalıştayı’.
